In 2014 the process described above was extended to include total knee prostheses. The ODEP rating is now a commonly used benchmark used not only in the UK but also globally. This led to the requirement for two CMS based websites to promote information about implants and also to collate user based data. ODEP had already secured a design agency to complete the branding and the look and feel, and they came to us to build the CMS based back-end and to implement the designs. These systems needed to match existing platforms and so Dot Net Nuke was chosen as the basis for the project. As this is a specialism, we selected one of our regular contract developers to support us on this project.
The sites were successfully completed in late 2013 and have become the go-to websites for orthopedic data and information.
